At Christmas come to our house and you will see A ladder decorated like a Christmas tree With sparkling lights and garland green It turns our house into a festive holiday scene.

It was in December of nineteen ten Money was scare even way back then, That Christmas night there was no tree in sight, So Grandma set the ladder up all decorated bright.

So. now we carry on the old tradition, Every year we still put on the ladder exhibition To honor Grandmother's first composition. The Christmas ladder makes Yuletide even gladder. So come to our house and see our Christmas ladder.
